Two weeks ago this Sunday my transmission lost overdrive and reverse. I opted to take it back to Goerends even though it was one month past the 3 year warranty with 68,000 miles on the rebuild. No promises were made, they said they would look it over and get back to me. I left it there early on Tuesday and went to get it on Friday. They only charged me for parts ($600)and as best I can tell it's a new transmission. The installer said it was a differant TC and it sure shifts firm like when I first got it 68,000 miles ago. David didn't have to do a thing for me, but I feel they went the extra mile. I did e-mail them and asked what all they did hoping to add that to this post. If I hear back I will post it here. Anyone out there that is debating this subject has to keep this shop in mind for their business. DWest

Bear with me first time posting on this site not quite sure Im doing it rite. Been a member just never posted anything. Thats good to know I just ordered a transmission from dave yesterday herd alot of good things about him and his trannys. Denise and dave seem to be very nice pepole on the phone. Just wish that the trannys did not cost so much but I believe in you get what you pay for. Pepole think Im crazy for sending clear over to Iowa from Pa for a transmission they just dont understand cummins power and automatic transmissions. SBarbour
