Goerend Transmission

I have been looking at upgrading my trans. Mine is still in good working order, i am easy with the smarty. I have read some good things on here about Goerend transmissions. I went on his website but that didn't really tell me much on what type of upgrades you can get.



If you want a new trans can he ship one complete out to you or do you have to send in urs first?



Or does he have to have ur truck and he'll take it out rebuild it and put it back in, I am completly capable and have the facilities and tools to do it my self?



Can you just get a torque converter and valve body assembly from him?



Is there different valve bodys he can make? you know ones for like towing, performance, drag strip?



Are there any problems with his transmissions, or something you guys didn't like?



Any input would be helpful.

Out of all the transmission builders I have heard ZERO complaints about Dave G. and also NADP. They both have excellent customer service and are not afraid to stand behind their products. When im ready to spend the money, it will go to one of these 2.

Yes he ships complete transmission's, or just TC and VB. He shipped mine and I sent mine back in the freight box. He doesn't require a core charge, and he is great to deal with.



Give him a call. You can both decide what you need/want and he will build it. He is a busy man, so it may take him a little while to get back to you---but he will!



It will definetly be worth the wait.

I agree. Dave is very good to deal with and will take the time to help. It can be tough getting a hold of him, but it seems that once you do he'll help in any way he can. He has helped me alot with my transmission, and it wasn't originally built by him in the first place!
