See my sig for my HP, I have been running this for about 30,000 miles with just a tc and vb no other mods.



I have tried a couple different VB configurations and a switch to the 3 disk about 15000 miles.



my transmission guts are still stock.

Back in mid May when I had my transmission modified,I had Dave's tripple disk installed,he modified my stock valve body,replaced the rear seal,strengthened some internal band and put in some machined thingy(by Ray Torresal),replaced my stock transmission cooler lines with the updated ones and gave it a road test,then made some adjustments and road tested it again. Total cost was just under$1900. The smile and joy I have had driving the truck since then is priceless. The truck shifts as if it was bone stock,and I'm just under 300hp right now. If you go up to 400hp,chances are that you will need a higher pressure valve body,which will make it shift MUCH firmer. All in all it is some of the best money I have spent on modifications on this truck.

Sounds like a very good setup, especially the 100k warrenty.

I would have to agree that that might very well be the best bang for the buck. You can't beat the price or the warrantee. Is there a year limit to the warrantee? Thanks for the info.

I did speak with dave today and the $2550 price already mentioned is correct for the complete trans with triple disc. He also told me that for people that are not to high in HP they could also go with a less modified valve body that uses lower pressures and could save about $200 off the price of $2550. bringing the total cost down to $2350. I'm not sure where the cut of is where you need more extensive valve body mods but my guess is around 250-300HP. As said before in other threads, the valve body mods are to protect the rest of the trans not the triple disc. If you honestly tell Dave what you have for HP and how you intend to drive, he will build you what you need, not more not less
