Huh?

She better take it ATM style, and im not talking the bank either, to ever consider doing anything stupid like that :(

Does P. W. ring a bell to us boys here?

Also with all the

IRON in your signature - you'd better have a pre-nup - and remember; it's all the same with your eyes closed... ... .

2005 Dodge 2500 325/600 4x4 CC White

2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 6 Speed

2004 BMW 530I Sport

2001 Ford Lightning MODDED TO THE XTREME!!

1979 Corvette L82 (982) ORIGINAL MILES

Logical alternative???

... put her in anyone of the others... ;)

I would go out and test drive a few 12 valve trucks that are running advanced timing. Make sure she is with you.

Then find the family jewels and put them back where they should be--- in the sack.

She is much out of line and you are in for a bad deal if you stay with that.

Just my opinion.

I`m still hoping its a gag, anybody that drives a diesel should have the nuts to stand his own against any chick. Either hes sitting back laughing or she pulled his TDR away from him and signed him up on the Home&Garden Forum. Which would mean hes sitting in a corner mumbling to himself about how he used to be a man.

Look what ya did, you guys went and emasculated Koopdaddy to the point that his tail's between his legs and he's too embarassed to respond! :-laf With that said, I think motofreak said it best in his last post. Go find your manhood somewhere Koop! Re-read your post - 'TO APPEASE HER' you got rid of your CTD?? Gimme a break. The vette is noisy and rides like crap - my dad has a brand new one that I drive from time to time. It also has a cheapy plasticky interior - what's next, appease her part 2 and byebye vette? YOU ARE WHIPPED SON!! :-laf :D

I've been married 32-1/2 years.

As much as I love my wife and as well as we get along today, if you do everything she wants you to do - well, How much are you going to be asking for the '79 Vette?

OK, lets get his straight... ... I haven't sold the truck!! I love my truck. I just took off the turbo basically. I still am running an Edge Juice / Attitude. I put my stock exhaust and airbox on as well. I also was getting a little freaked out by not having a warranty on the truck. Plus, the truck had started to rattle alot as compared to when it was new. The dealer called star and they would not let them put a set of injectors in, even after he told them that the truck was loud and had a little diesel in the oil. This, plus the fiance = a HUGE pain in the ***. PS, it is true that Ford's do suck, but the Lightning is an exception, trust me, go drive one...

I understand both sides of this. I bought the '05 with a sigh and a 'ok' from my wife. I had been looking and she knew that as she was with me sometimes. I found one that I thought I could make a deal on (not the one I have) and she gave me a figure she could live with. I found the '05; it had more on it for less than the one I thought I could make a deal on, but couldn't and was less the limit she gave me. Done deal.

I had a guaranteed buyer for my '99 at the price I set, and guaranteed her I would keep enough money in the bank to pay off the '05 at any time. I also had the fact that our daughter travels a lot with me and I needed a QuadCab for her and her "stuff". Those of you with kids know that this is not an "excuse" but a fact.

She is coming around nicely. She loves riding in the roomy cab when we travel. She bought me a set of steps and a tailgate protector for the '05 for Christmas. I love her and she is a keeper.

Koop: Compromise works, just make sure it is a compromise with give and take. BOTH giving and taking (not the same one doing all the giving and the other one doing all the taking all the time)... it won't work otherwise! Be happy with the trades you and her make. Best of luck to you and her. Don't let these guys get to you; most of them are w****** and just don't know it. :-laf

Hey KOOPDADDY,

it cost me $27,000 to get rid of my controlling ex wife, probably the best money I ever spent, BUT, could have used that money on something else you know. Now, Im engaged and getting married in a few months. I've installed several items on my truck gauges, air filter waiting in the garage, torque tube en route, several other gauges en route, have'nt placed my order on the exhaust yet, but will in a few months. My fiancee dont care, she said, "its your truck, do what you want. " But, like a few other guys stated here, state your piece and hold your ground, my fiancee is one hot momma but that doesnt mean that I wont stant up to her or tell her how it is. She got a sister thats single also.
