Going for a long haul! WA to Cal. 4000 Miles!

We are taking a trip from WA. to Southern Cal. (Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad) for a week or so.



2000 miles one way. We will be towing our 35ft. triple slide. About 14,000lbs. We will weigh about 21,000lbs total.



The truck has 3900 miles on it and just did an oil change.



I will report back after the trip to fill you in on how things went.



fuel prices, MPG, pulling power, etc.



Ya'll have a great 4th talk to ya again around the 10 or so.

YES we got got the new brakes on the trailer. Dexter sent complete units, big job but I got it done last weekend.



We do hope to make it to the timberline met.
