hey guys i would like to get some advice, i will be going on vaction from aug 24 to the 8th of sep, i will be leaving from lawton okla and the distenation is going to be toronto canada and then up to quebec, i will be hauling a 11,600 fiver. and i will be taking intestate all the way due to time. i would like to know about some good camp grounds with full ammenities. what the weather is like up that way during that time of year. and what kind of pulls i will encounter and what there is to see .

Try campingontario. ca you will find a good assortment there. The weather is still warm. The terian is relatively flat, easy for pulling. Depending as to where you cross over the border also dpends on what to see. Niagra Falls is pretty cool if you have never seen it. As far as toronto goes , there is Canadas wonder land,CN Tower(very tall). Im sure somebody from there will pipe up and give some tips. Im 4 hours from there , been there lots of times, but just to busy for my likeing. Have a safe and enjoyable trip. ;)

Algonquin Park and the Muskoka's in Ontario are a must see.

Very nice campgrounds there.

Send me a PM and I'll forward some contact info for you.

You might want to consider a park in Niagara falls.

You don't want to be anywhere near Toronto pulling a trailer unless you're driving through town. Secondly, I don't think there is a park near TO. You see, folks up here leave TO to go to campgrounds :)

NFalls is 1 hr away from downtown TO. NFalls might have something for you to see also.

Ballet dancers down the street

The Falls, casino, Marineland (Great show), cable car, Maid of the Mist (great ride near bottom of falls), Niagara on the Lake 10 miles north - historic town - also has whitewater runs on flat bottom twin Cat 500HP jet boats...

That tim of year is great... crops are comin in - peaches, grapes, wine tours blah blah blah

Then there's TO - go downtown to Ontario Place, CN tower, The CNE - Great bands that time of year also etc. etc.

can even take bus there and back...

Best bet and best park is the KOA on the strip (Lundy's Lane) in NFalls. Book early.

happy trails

Yeah, what Goober said. There is also a KOA just off HWY 401 near Milton. I think it's Milton Heights Campground and is the closest campground to Toronto and is much closer than the one in Niagara.

Enjoy!
