I was wasting time on line and ran across some 12V Rams that were for sale.
Price's were 30K and up. They were dealers (I know, I know......)
So, I was considering selling my truck.
Original owner, I ordered it. 155K miles. Every option except heavy rear springs. Everything works.
Inj pump still has it's seal. I did put in marine 370 "diamond" yada yada matched injectors from Piers's. I also recently put in a NON wastegated 16cm2 housing on the turbo. It has an adjustable overflow valve. Otherwise stock.
Does it need work, sure.
Could use a good scrubbing down & wax.
Drivers seat has suffered but otherwise interior is very good for a 98. I'd call the interior WAY above average sans drivers seat.
Dash has 1 crack in it. (factory woodgrain & leather)
Tires are round & hold air. Wayyy overdue for replacement due to sidewall cracking, but I still drive it wherever I need to. Decent tread depth.
Small rust spot on drivers door, pass door none.
Cab doorsills have NO rust. 0%.
Bed has typical dodge rust top of wheel well. (predominantly pass side) I put a set of fender flares on, and they cover it easily.
This was NEVER used as a work truck and it shows. I get compliments almost every time I'm out with it, despite it needing a wash & wax. It has a cap, but it makes it look like SH**. It needs to be painted badly.
Last 15 years it's been driven about 20K miles, almost all highway....to Maine , to Arkansas etc.
Since being disabled, it's not used much, I STILL change the oil & filters annually.
EXTENSIVE records kept on maintenance.
60 gallon in bed tank (Transferflow I think......not 100%) A Racor 1000FG is mounted in the bed.
Tool box in there too. Both aluminum diamondplate.
Factory tank has the draw straw mod.
Rear bumper is original, chrome, and NOT rusty. 2" factory receiver.
Front bumper is an aluminum UTE Bullbar, with front receiver. It's also cut for a winch.
I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff.
Anybody have a ballpark figure for me?
