Speed goat hunt this weekend,3 tags. My son, my daughter and I will be looking for the speed goat. Always a great time!

Ahhh, that brings back a fond memory. I literally drove my truck straight from the dealer to an antelope hunt. Less than 24 hours later my partner and I both had 15" bucks in the back. Broke 'er in right, I did.

Antelope are the second fastest land mammal, topping speeds of 35mph.



Of course, if you wanted it easy, you could just hunt here in the base in Cheyenne-- you could probably fill your tag without using a gun or knife. STOOPID ANTELOPE!

These horned jackrabbits reach speeds approaching 60 mph. Fastest western hemisphere land critter. Oo.

Just got back my 12 year old daughter got a nice doe, Her first big game animal. My 14 year old son got a realy nice buck. The two antelope was enough so I did not even try to fill my tag.

General season opens this coming weekend. Time to get rid of some wylie wapati. The kids tags are good for either sex and mine is Bull only.

I had avoided this thread until today as I have been too busy to read it and find out the subject. That is a good name. There is no finer eating or meat more tender when properly prepared than antelope.

Never been, but would surely like to. Here, our speed goats have brown coats and white tails.
