Impromptu NW BOMBer-fest this Sunday

Well other than the weather being bad it was another good turnout. I think next month will be even better!! Really enjoyed seeing everyone!! Pete

Thems some nice looking trucks. Of course the BLUE down on the end was the best looking. #ad

All we needed was a few more trucks and we would have had every color offered
When and where are we meeting next month.
Know any good seafood places. The only ones I know of are here in Swansboro and a couple in Sneeds Ferry.
Hopefully it won't be rainy next month.
See Ya
Chris

Heh Pete:

Nice picture!

Sounds as though you all had a good time!
Wish I could have made it.

I have been trying to call you on
the cell phone the past two days.

A good time was had by all. Sorry you couldn't make it, John. You're right, Chris. That blue truck is pretty sharp, but my vote has to go to the red one on the end. But, then again, I may be a little prejudice. I guess spending $30k on it entitles me. Nice pic, Pete. Thanks, I forgot my camera. Any volunteers to head up the next get together? Any time, any place is fine with me. Maybe a tech session? Anyone doing upgrades? I'll be willing to have one when the funds become available for a set of gauges. Ya'll take care and spread the word about the next meeting, whenever it is.

David

Howdy All,
Thanks for the pictures we certainly enjoyed ourselves. It was sure some good food. Also nice to meet more of the local guys.
As far as next month on the 17th I have a trade show that I think I might need to attend. I also like the idea of a little hands on meeting. The only thing I have to install for now is the Mag-Hytec, not to fun to watch that one I wouldn't think. Maybe in March I'll have the SPA's here #ad
, I could probably use a little encouragment.
I don't know if any of you are interested or not, but on the 17th the SETDR is getting together at STP in Atlanta. Sounds like this one might be pretty fun, there is lots of talk about different accesories being installed that weekend.

Pete:

I have to admit that you are getting
pretty good with that digital camera!

BTW, that "Big Red Dually" would look
better with some rear mudflaps!

I am going to work hard to "get off"
for next months meeting.

My weekends are free so far in Feb. Except the 23 /25 Feb when I plan on being in Raleigh for the camper show. I don't know if I am going on Sat or Sun. I will be looking for a deal on the Turnball 18K hitch. Yes I know it will be an overkill, but peace of mind is a good thing.

Wes
I am looking at ordering the SPA Turbo temp/boost gauge soon, maybe we can do a dual install weekend. I will be ordering mine this week. I don't know if we need anything special to get this job done, do you ?? I will have mine in a week or so and see if we need any special tools to install.
Another subject, what type of horn do you have?? It was loud and I liked it.

PETE
From the sounds of things Pete is going to head up our meeting place for Feb. (your weclome Pete #ad
)

Wes
If you want to head up Mar I think that would be good to go. I will hold off on putting in my SPA gauge till I hear from you.

I think rotating the WHEN and WHERE from each of us till we start our own club, is a good thing?? Any thoughts, email me.
How does "South of the Mason/Dixion Line" sound ?? (SMDL) Tarheels limits us to N. C. anything else??
I may be jumping the gun here but I think we have enough trucks to support forming our own club. If nothing else it will be something to talk about on the 17th.
See Ya
Chris

Hey guys,
Sounds like things are starting to take shape,or Chris is whooping them into shape. #ad

I've printed off the installation instructions for the SPA DG-111. We need to find a 3/4 to 1/8 adapter for the boost and 1/8" tap. These seem to be the only things that I need to acquire.

The Horns are Hadley Bullys they were my Anniversary present.

AS far as March goes I know we have plenty of time, but I was thinking it would be a good time to break out the campers and tents. Maybe we can meet at a State Park and the non campers among us meet for a cookout or something. Let me know if there is any interest or if I should come up with another idea.
