Golf cart batteries @ Sam's

If your thinking about buying Golf cart batteries (6 volt) for your RV or what ever, do it know. In about a month Sam's is going to drop the one year warranty, and it will cost you $15. 00 for that warranty. I was told last night.

It might be that they are better than one think's or just another way to generate more capital.

I bought Interstate, for my other trailer, made by Johnson Control--with a 30 day W a couple years ago. These batteries now are $115. 95. So if they go in a year I still get the replacement, so now Ive got two years on my investment. Not if I wait.

If one goes to Johnson controls web site you get a bunch of other makes I've never heard of, and you can't see who they lable for any more. Its a gamble.

I used the Costco version on my TT the batteries with the picture of the golf cart and were red/white. I could never get them to take full charge. The same for another RVer that we know had the same problem. We went to Trojan 105's and have had no problems.

My trailer came as an option of two 6 volt golf cart batteries as opposed to the 12 volt combo.



They ar Trogan 105's. My trailer is an '04. They are still strong.



When and if I replace, they will be Trogan 105's.

Bad thing about the Trojans is they are a bit taller than these and I have a space hight problem. You say check Costco they don't have the internet info on batteries. I need to check the weight of each battery, it should give me some in site to plates etc.

I replaced mine about 2-3 years ago with Trojans, got them at Battery Plus in Carson City, NV. I have not had any problems with them, knock on wood.

I have 4 Costco 6 volt Golf Cart battery's, now 3 years old, no issues, they charge to 100% all the time.

Trojan Batt's come in different size but same batt. for just that kind of problem such as clearance. 105 was just the size that fit mine.
