There is a black shoe scuff on my glove-box door, and some old adhesive gunk left over from the previouse owner's dash ornaments... is goo-gone ok to use on this stuff? Or is there something better to use?

I have tried scrubbing it, but that didn't work. I am just nervouse about using any chemical on plastic... you never know what could happen.

Thanks

Scuff Marks/Graffiti Marks

I use a Zep product here at the school on the busses. There is a salesman who stops in here time to time. Do you know anyone who can obtain Zep products?

I'm using "write away" ink & graffiti remover, product no. 0314 and with any chemical use it first on a hidden area.

Removes ball point ink, crayon, adhesives, grease. Use on vinyl, formica, fiberglass, plastics. Smells like oranges. Oh,BTW,it removes lipstick real well. I'm not saying you would ever have to remove lipstick, but if you should ever need to,this stuff will really go to bat for you. I once had this time where. Uh,,,,,never mind

Adhesive removal...

My buddy who owns a camper shell business has told me to use WD-40 or similar product to remove the sticky stuff (like old weather stripping rubber etc... ). It worked for me :D

Home Depot sells Zep products. I would be leary of using goo gone on plastic... ..... try it someplace out of the way first- it might harm it.
