I've had my edge comp for years now and still like it. I work on computer for a living and personally can't stand all that "technology" crap hanging around when I get in my truck. I'm of the firm belief..... KISS ... . Keep It Simple Stupid! Best of luck.

The best set up I've seen is a TST box stacked with a Smarty. He'll love it. I have a buddy with that setup (plus some more goodies!) and it's awesome. If I had the money, thats what I would do. Have fun!

I agree on the Edge Juice,But! He had better save some money for a clutch because the stock one won't like it! Ask me how i know. Randy

If he does not have gauges I would say Edge juice hot with attitude, but if he already has gauges I would go with Edge drag comp or TST Power Max 3 Competition. He will definatly need a clutch or updated Auto transmission.

You don't state what he has for a transmission or whether he has gauges or not. Two important points. Stock clutches & automatics won't handle much more than an Edge EZ or the like. For top performance, I doubt he could beat the Smarty TST stack.
