2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Good buys on remaining 2002's

Just picked up a 2002. I could not pass up this deal. I bought my 2000 used over a year ago and put around 25K miles on it. They gave me what I paid for my 2000 and I bought the new one for invoice minus the $3,000 dealer cash back (or what ever Dodge is calling it). This Dealer still has 8 2002 3500QC CTD on their lot some are 4x2's and some are 4x4's, some auto's and some 6 speeds. They also have a couple of 2002 2500QC CTD's. I guess they are feeling the heat

Too be honest though parts don't bother me No insulation the better to hear the mighty Cummins. Mine has wheel liners Maybe this dealer did not like them being deleted and added on their own?? I do like that HO CTD and that big 6 speed transmission. Real fun to drive The shifting keeps me involved in the driving experience Oo.

I paid $25K for my 2000, and it was hailed on this spring. The insurance company gave me $2800 after my deductable and I never got the hail damage fixed, just pocketed the money. The dealer gave me $23K trade in on the 2002. It listed for $36K and I paid $28,600 I don't think I left much money on the table How while I owned the 2000 I did put four new tires on it and a set of Mud flaps total cost - $750 but that is about it except for oil and filter changes and other general maintance.
