My trucks are driven a lot, as shown by the miles on them in my sig. One of the items that wears the worst on the 2nd and 3rd gen trucks is the door hinges. Over the years I have tried different lubricants and have never been satisfied. White lithium spray lube caused a build up which attracted dirt. Not only was it unsightly it also didn't work well. Spray silicone has been the product I stayed with even though it required weekly applications. Recently I found GDL (garage door lube) made by the same folks that make Fabulous Blaster. It is silicone based but dries to a non tacky substance. IT WORKS!!!!! The drivers doors on both 3rd gens were requiring twice a week applications of silicone but after a good soaking with GDL it has now been two weeks and the hinges work without groaning!

So, what have you tried that works?

Godspeed,

Trent

Motorcycle chain lube. Redline? Spray can with a plastic tube.
I've only used it once but it's still working good.
It goes on wet, then dries sticky. After spraying I wipe off excess
