Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Good drive line shop in Houston

Folks,



Hooked up to the fifth wheel this weekend and took it home to do work on it. As soon as I started out in first got a "tap tap" from rear of truck. Would sound between 1500-2000 rpm in first, second, and third. Fourth gear okay. Maybe u-joint in the rear on the way out? Any body know good drive shaft place in Houston or Beaumont. Truck is 97 Club Cab 4wd 5sp with 19. 5 wheels. Thanks in advance

Driveshaft Specialties (409)842-1700. They make custom drive shafts and install/repair differentials.



Hope they can help you, they come highly recommended from everybody I know that has had work done by them.
