Go try "Independent Diesel Repair" and talk to Dr. Bill French... they are the guys that transplanted Ryan's 93' Cummins into his 75' crew-cab power wagon... seems like a good outfit... oh yeah it's in sacramento

Greg's 1993 D250 4x2. . 5-speed. . extended cab. . longbed. . bright white. . tinted windows. . 5-inch Peterbilt stack through bed. . "Cummnzpowr Air Intake-system"... . Piers' "tweak inductioned fuel pump"... . PW injectors... 12CM housing... Isspro Pyro &Boost guages. . "Stack-O-Saurus Rex"

I'm pursuing a bit more power from my early '91 truck, and since it's never had injector pump timing looked at, am interested in locating a diesel shop of proven ability within reasonable driving distance to check out my pump timing and adjustment. I've already found that Dodge dealers or the Cummins shop in West Sac are worthless in this regard...

Anyone in my general area have a good shop to recommend?

MORE than a match for every new PS Ford encountered so far...

"Dura" WHAT? NOW I know where all those recycled beer cans go...

GREY - HMMMmm, the site you pointed to seems to be some sort of technical group? I can't see any specific description as to what they do or any actual shop locations?

What *I* am specifically looking for is a PERFORMANCE diesel injector pump shop that is WELL versed and PROVEN in tweaking pumps to fit individual wants/needs of performance motivated vehicle owners - direct and established experience on Cummins and our style pumps is essential! #ad

What I *DON'T* want is some high-school dropout "diesel engineer wannabe" who is eager to "expiriment" on my truck... #ad

You might give Ken Imler or Marc Becker a call, both are in the Sacramento area and in the yellow pages under diesel injector repair. I've had dealings with both and have been satisfied with their work. Hope this helps, Jones

Maybe I should have referred you to the US Service Members page under membership directory. I have used these shops for over thirty years, they are certified, trained, etc. in working on pumps, turbos, injectors of all sizes and so on. Believe me they know the limits for what you can and can’t do. Stop by or call a shop near you and see what they have to say!
