Well I cannot Bomb the Compaq anymore. She is running a crisp 128 MB along with a AMD 400 Mhz processor and a lil over 4gb HD and I went ahead and purchased another licence from Microrobbery and went for the install of XP. All went well but system resources never get above 68% free. no biggie so I swapped back to 98 (Used my 30 day return in under 4 hours) and all is better (Sortof) but the ol' 1690 needs to go to the wayside (Well garage duty anyhow)

Awww Skoby I forgot to tell ya I am unning a home network that allready is all swapped over to XP and the laptop is docked to it most of the time. Plus I have all my existing programs in pc format
