Off Roading 35's on a dually??

Competition members truck on ebay?

Anyone purchasing one of our double disc will be receiving an SFI certification form with your clutch. The good news is, everyone who has purchased our dd clutch can also get the certification from us. I do not have a list of everyone who has our clutch so I will need you to either post here or contact us so we can mail you the certification. I expect to have all the paperwork ready in the next week or so.

SBC is the first true "street" dual disc, to get SFI certified, that I am aware of.

Thanks for stepping up, and getting it done, Peter.

DHRA sledpulling requires SFI equipment in Super Street and Modified classes.

A lot of the Pennsylvania "brush" pulls require SFI clutches, containment, if you have anything OTHER than a STOCK turbo.

Double check you local pulls, ATPA, NTPA classes, make sure you going to meet the rules wherever you plan on competing this year, they are cracking down on Diesel safety.

Peter, You are a nice guy and Bill wanted me to let you know this right away. He just saw this and you need to call SFI right away and make sure you are ok to do this. As far as we are aware, you cannot mail any SFI cert . tags to anyone as you do not know where it is going to end up or if the product has been altered. The tag will trace back to you via the serial number and you can be held liable. Just because you are a nice guy doesn mean the guy you are sending it to is. For what its worth not sure if you were up to speed on how seriouxly they take this kind of stuff. That is why we have to send back parts for re-cert. when the dates expire on our racing components so they can verify they have not been altered.

I thought the clutches had to be inspected when the SFI certificate was issued. So i dont see how you could issue a certificate without removing the clutch, inspecting it, and re-installing.

Go easy guys.

Peter goes out of his way to get this thing SFI'd and your jumping all over him

I guess if it isn't your favorite brand then it can't be any good right?

Sort of a "say it ain't so" :{

Thank You for the heads up. This makes perfect sense and I would bet you are right. Even if it was allowed, it would not be wise to do so for the obvious reasons stated. That being said, anyone with our DD will need to send it to us for inspection and certification. Also, if you would like your clutch rebuilt or freshened up while it is out, now is the time to do it. I will do this part at a nominal cost to you.

Just thought the DHRA sled pulling police chief would have caught this but he's probably working on mounting a blower on his truck right now. :-laf

Justin, were you trying to take a pot shot at me for helping Peter out?

I was just stating something that Peter probably wasn't aware of, cause all the work that he went through, would have been for nothing if SFI seen that a guy was mailing out labels.
