Just got done with a 4,700 mi trip towing a 10,000# 5er. Mileage was 10 -11mpg.

Seems to be getting better - 15,500 mi on the truck now. Mileage = or better than my old '95 when towing, worse when not towing. Power about the same, new truck a LOT cleaner + the 6 speed auto with 4:10 is great.

Towed with my 10 2500, auto,3. 73, yesterday pulling a little over 5000 pds. 125mile trip in the mountains of N. C. and got 12. 4 mpg and the truck has 670 miles on it. Took it back to the dealer for cab lights and step rails. Looks great but on the way home I noticed that they had swapped the visors, swapped:eek:Oothem back myself. I was impressed with the brake controller and the exhaust brake both worked great after I got used to the trailer brake set-up. Oo.

Im not sure. My brother is borrowing for a couple days, otherwise i would look. But it runs about 16 hundred rpm at 60 -65. I have even managed to get about 17 just driving around but thats cuz i baby it cuz its brand new

Very true. But keep in mind that your 6. 7 is 90% cleaner than something that was already 90% clean.

That's so clean that mushrooms and flowers will be growing in the tailpipe.

Now if they would add a little vanilla scent to the exhaust it would be just perfect... ... ... :)

Well I used to borrow his truck from time to time before I got my new truck. (used to drive 93 chevy) and so now that I got a new truck he's cashing in on all the times I borrowed his truck.
