i saw this in somebody's gallery on DTR. thought it looked pretty good, so i went for it. happy with the results. i'll see if i can find where i read about it, cuz he had some good instructions.

Hey, thats great swank, but where are you gonna put the other 5 gauges? Can you hang'em along the top of the windshield like dingleballs? :D Sorry, I couldn't help myself, you know how it is! Too bad my tach won't fit there, already checked, :(

... kinda like Jello - there's always room for more... :-laf

Looks good swank - my face hurt every time I drove my rig :D

What guages are youall runnin to need those extra two spots. I like gauges and am trying to figgure out whitch ones will be usefull in the crew. If my final number is 10, oh well :) Robert

I run my 'less-important-yet-still-gotta-have-them' - gauges there - oil pressure and water temp. Pyro, boost, and trans temp are the ones I want to have at eye level, but I also want to have numbers for those other two critical engine systems. Plus, it's really nice to have actual numbers verses hash marks.

Or maybe an auto-pilot??? :p

Howsabout a STALL warning and big flashing red light for those times the boost gets to low. :-laf :-laf

Are the triple gauge pods for the top of the dash usually for the 94-02 and tweaked to fit first gens... or does someone make them specifically for 89-93's?

I do like that location by SamsRams.

Some have trimmed the 94-02 dash mounts to fit ours. But USGear.com sells a 2,3 and 4 and possibly a 5 gauge dash mount for our 1st gens. I have one of their 3 gaugers. You never can have too many gauges, but they sure do get expensive.

Swank, don't most folks with twins only have 2 boost gauges? One big one for overall boost and a smaller one for the bottom turbo?

yes. two is all that's necessary. i just added another before the innercooler though. interested in seeing what's taking place there. and i figgered since it was only $9, it'd be worth it. once i get everything cyphered, it will be the first to go.

Going to have to call it a cockpit not a cab pretty soon.

Off work now, swank, so we can deal on the old head we have talked about. I'll give you a call soon.
