Just curious if there's anywhere or anyone that sells TPS's for the 92 trucks,and what is the best price. Does anyone have one that works that wants to sell it? Otherwise looks like Cummins is the cheapest at $175 :{

You might want to try another cummins dealer. My local dealer told me $145. for one about a month ago. The bad part was he wanted a 13% special order charge because his supply chain did not have it in stock. So for me it was cheaper to go threw the Dodge dealer. I get a discount the the dealer I buy from.

When i bought mine from a dodge dealer it was around $200 and that was with a %10 military discount. When i called Cummins NW down there in Vegas it was only like $100 but that was also like 2 years ago.

My Dodge dealer told me $205 list. My cost $184. with tax. With another discount that only Dodge employees (the wife) can get I went out the door at $162. with tax included.

The cummins dealer was $145. + 13% = $163. plus tax= $172. Plus cummins might have been a 1 to 2 week wait on the part.

Dodge part was in stock. Even with out the other discount I would have bought the Dodge part rather than wait up to two weeks.

Something else to think about. Each dealer parts dept give the best discounts to people that keep returning. When they know your name when you walk in the door. You will get a better discount than someone they only might see once a year or less.

Before you buy make absolutely sure its the TPS. Some of the problems attributed to the TPS are elsewhere. Second, they can sometimes be taken apart and revived by cleaning them. They are a very simple rheostat. Third, if you are a tinkerer one can be built from Radio Shack parts if you are so inclined. Last, you can tune the OD shift to use a single voltage value and a pressure setting.

All of the above can be accomplished for considerably less $$ than a new TPS.

My 02. Good luck.
