Looking for a good high quality 2 or 3 guage full A-pillar mount with tweeter location for a 2002 truck. I don't know if all the different brands and vendors A-pillar mounts are all the same. I want something that looks OEM (plastic has same texture surface as the rest of the truck interior). It would also be nice if it mounts using the factory clips like the A-pillar trim pieces (not found of having to use screws to hold it in place). I also do not want something thin and flimsy. Do any of the various 2 or 3 guage A-pillar mounts meet all this criteria???

why the heck not?

in a free and capitalist society... my reply to that is why the heck not? there is demand mr. keynes would ask where is the supply?

I may be mistaken and probably am but when I was looking for my a pillar I was told by several vendors that there was only one manufacturer for them and sold under a couple different names. The Autometer one is pretty good. The texture matches fairly well, it took paint good and I attached it with one screw underneath one of the gauge mounts. You have to look to see it. Others have even capped the screw with a plastic plug. If you are worried about drilling that hole and possible subsequent rust just drill, paint it (even fingernail polish works), use some wax or silicone on the screw when you put it in.
