Good quality LED interior lights

We replaced all our interior incandescent with generic LED lights from r & p carriages. Over half of them have failed or work intermittantly and R & P don't want to help. I don't mind replacing them all again, but I would like to get some good quality LED lights so I don't have to poke too many more holes in the ceiling. Does anyone have a good source? I ordered some form a vendor I use off shore.... Something like $4 each shipped to my home... brighter than my wife likes... but after 18 months I've had no problems... these are a connector to the plug and a circuit board with 20 LED's that use 3M tape to hold them to the fixture...

Over the last 5 years I've replaced all the interior and exterior lights on my slide in camper and also the running lights and dome light in the truck. With the exception of the camper running lights (which have been great) I've had about a 25% failure rate. I am using a mix of circuit board leds in the camper and 3057? replacement bulbs for the truck running lights. The most failures have been the truck running lights. Failures mostly occur in the first couple of months. I'm using a mix of 'brand name' and China imports and don't see any difference. Several of the circuit board leds have had individual led failures and have heated up enough to melt the 3M tape.
I am also using a license plate bracket with built in led backup lights and 2 of the six leds have failed due to corrosion.
Overall, I like the leds for their low power consumption and high light output, but hope that their reliability will improve.
The China leds are cheap enough to buy a bunch of spares and can be much brighter than traditional bulbs with 1/10 the power needs.

We first installed the LED kit in 4 fluorescents. The lights were brighter and we liked the color better, less yellow.

This week, we installed 6 halogen replacements. The color is better. The color of the halogens and original fluorescents was too warm. The perception is slightly less light. They are dimmable.

Like others, we purchased replacement LEDs for the existing interior light fixtures. I used ebay seller "DT autotech" and so far no issues, but limited use maybe 100 hours during 2013...
We went with much whiter lights and for the most part are very happy. Defintely enjoy being able to boondock and not worry about draining the battery or running the gen to keep a few lights on! LEDs are awesome!

I replace all interior lights last year. No failures, and MUCH lower heat than standard bulbs...and thus lower current draw
