2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Good tire size for a 96 4x4?

My truck is stock and I want to put a 2. 5 inch skyjacker lift on it... Now, i need to get a set of rims and tires. . Should i go with 33 inch tires or is that going to be too small with the 2. 5 inch lift??

And rims, should i get 16" or 17"??

My truck still has the stock lift w/35's on wheels w/5" backspacing

so if you put a lift on you should have any trouble w/35's

most wheels have 4 1/2" backspace & will hit easier.
