2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Good trans shop in Ft Worth area?

Well its time. 5th gear went away for the second time in 6 months so its time for Standard Tranmission to do their magic.

I dont think they do the R+R so I need some place that will pull it and take me and the trans to ST and back all in the same day. Any suggestions? TIA

You might give James Northrup a call. I know he's a DTT installer but I'm sure the shop he's out of could handle the job.

Not sure where he is in relation to your location though.

Transmission R&R

I had Ponce Transmission in Ft Worth pull my trans when 5th gear failed and ship it to Standard for rebuild. They did an excellent job and even replaced my clutch and plate while the trans was out. My trk had 101,250 miles when 5th gear failed, so I figured to save a second labor charge. Roy at Ponce told me he had done about 25 such jobs in conjunction with Standard Trans.
