Good transmission shop in Georgia

Does anyone out there know of a transmission shop thats good with the 48re? I live in the Douglasville area and work in Atlanta. My trucks getting up in the miles and would like to get my transmission freshened up and a new convertor. Thanks a million in advance guys, don't know what I'd do without TDR.

I believe Jeff Garmon has his own transmission parts now. I think he used to do Suncoast stuff before he started making his own. Anyway, he knows his stuff. I used Chip's Transmissions in Sevierville, TN for my DTT.

That would be great but he lives and works right here in Garmons backyard. The thread title IS transmission shop in Georgia not Iowa.
