Does anyone know of a good transmission shop in Southern California? Someone that knows our trucks and what they need. Buddy transmission is hurting pretty bad and is looking for a good place to have his done. TC/VB (maybe input). Preferable a shop close to the San Bernardino area, but he's willing to go out to LA somewhere to get it done right. How important is the input shaft. He's got a HOT Juice/BD Twins/90hp injectors and that's it. It's a 600. I'm telling him it's a must with the hp/tq he's laying down and the amount he tows on a regular basis (17,000lb toy hauler). Should he do the flex plate while he's at it? He called BD about a trans and they want $3,000 for whole thing. And that doesn't include input or a TC. Sounds steep. Sorry for rambling. If anyone has any recommendation please post up. Thanks in advance!

Call Larry or Bob at Bellflower Trans, in Bellflower Ca. (562) 867-5240

They did my 99 ATS installation, man I can tell you enough how important it is to have an installer that knows what their doing. Bob's the man for all ECM/PCM questions.

At times Larry can be hard to deal with but Bob's the reason the customers keep returning. All that being said I would recommend them.

I agree, Larry and Bob do great work. According to ATS, their one of the few installers that can build an ATS transmission in their shop. Used them for my commuter car and they were very professional.
