When I look at the Wrangler AP on Goodyears web site or Tire Racks web site or Discount tires web site it is not the same tread pattern as the Goodyear Wrangler AP's that come on our trucks  What's the deal??? Did Goodyear just change the tread pattern? What do we do if we need a replacement tire? Anybody else notice this?

Bummer if they did that, but

have you compared an actual new tire to the ones on your truck?

I've noticed that many tires brands have differing tread patterns in Passenger versus LT series under the same product name.

Just going by the pictures on the Tire Rack and other sites of the Goodyear Wrangler AP 235/85/16 and then what the tread pattern on my tires look like. They are different???

I do not doubt the difference. I'm just hoping the difference comes from the web site or even newspaper ads use a passenger tire tread photo. A co-worker has P rated Wrangler RT/S tires on his ½ ton Chevy. The tread pattern is slightly different from my LT rated tires.
