Just went from BFG mud terrains to Goodyear Wrangler ATs
in 255-85-16 150miles
so far, my initial reactions: They dont "scrub" as readily as the mT's did (high g turns where the tall sidewall wants to fold over from the lateral acceleration) perhaps better fuel mileage (just from the relative position of the fuel guage, haven't run a whole tank with these tires yet) They dont howl nearly as loud when breaking traction on pavement!, and of course the road noise is much lower in general (although the mud terrains arent BAD when they have most of their tread still on'em, they do get loud when their worn down) So far so good, save for the 170. 00 price tag... .
