Dodge uses the Valley brand goose neck hitch, It came with the truck when I bought it used. I have owned two B&W hitches before this one and I can tell you they are both rated at 30,000 and built similar. The big difference is the Dodge (Valley) uses a 3" round receiver with an offset lock pin for the ball, where B&W uses a 2 1/2" square receiver with a centered lock pin. I have the B&W companion and had to machine an adaptor to use it with the Dodge (Valley) hitch. When I bought the truck I didn't look close enough and I thought it had the B&W in it and went to put the companion hitch in and "crap, this wont work. " If I had to choose I would do the B&W just to be able to use the companion hitch without any problems.
