So I am assuming you guys all run hydraulic brakes instead of electric? In my neck of the woods you see very few with the hydraulic setup.

No, the BrakeSmart and Jordan controllers can be used with either electric or electric-over-hydraulic trailer brakes.

I read in my owners manual that no brake controller should be connected to the truck's hydraulic lines. I'm guessing that if I did, I would create a warranty problem and a liability problem.

I wouldn't expect the truck manufacturer to say anything else, would you? If tapping into the brake system for the BrakeSmart pressure sensor produces heartburn, I'd go with the Jordan. It's non-intrusive, but basically does the same thing - determines what the driver's foot is doing on the brake pedal.

The B&W Turnoverball system has been in my truck for over 1 year and 10K+ towing miles with a 14K lb 5th wheel conversion and sometimes another 3K lb boat behind that. The hitch is perfectly manufactured, fits without so much as a single cuss word and the welds are a work of art. All of that and not a single hole in your frame, and with the quick pull of the release lever, you get your clean flat bed back

Nothing better for a goose!!!

What do you mean. Although I got a hitch that sticks back 4 inches from where the turnover ball is to give me a little extra clearance from the cab. I would like to see one of these set backs that you are talking about. Cab clearance is something I have worried about, when I get a GN.

Thanks, KO

Does that gooseneck extender change the weight load point to farther back as wekk or does it keep it in the correct spot. I have also seen a gooseneck coupler that moves the trailer back 9". . If used in conjunction may help out my issue with having a SB and wanting a GN
