Gooseneck extensions

Just bought a 28 foot enclosed gooseneck and the cab and trailer clearances are a little tight in turns (Short bed pickup). Anyone have any experience with the gooseneck extensions from here:

I have the B&W extended hitch and do not notice any difference in the way it tows... Oo.
