I just purchase a PJ 25' Gooseneck flat bed. I will be using this trailer to move my tractor, about 6500 pounds. I am trying to decide on what brand hitch I should purchase. I looked at the B&W and it seams to be the most popular. The only bad thing I have read about it is people don't like the grey paint color and the paint is about gone after a year. I also looked at the draw tite hide a goose but cant find much info. I also looked at the Pop up 2. Any advise would be appreciated. Good experience or bad. Install problems?

I also like my B&W. What i like best is not having anything protrude from the bed when not being used. So far I have not had any trouble with the paint flaking. Currently going on 2 years in my current rig.

my b&w has been in for 6 years... no paint peeling... but I live in Texas, we do not have salt roads in the winter...

Love mine though, have pretty much maxed it out to the rated # before... no complaints. .

Down here in West GA, all my buddies use B&W. Never had any trouble except for the ball shank sticking in the hole after not being used for a long time and the dirt and crud from the truck bed built up around it. A hammer makes short work of that situation and not hauling dirt in the truck bed prevents it. Never had any paint peel either.

I have had B&W in my '05 since I bought the truck new in '04. I have had no issues and will use a B&W turnover in my next truck too. :)

I'm the sixth guy in this thread to recommend the B&W... Six out of eight recommend it, that really says something about their quality.
