Brake controller

I talked to the truck acessory shop they said they use Hoppy brake controllers. Has anyone heard of these or used them? I looked for them on the net, but the only thing I come up with was Hoppy trailer wiring. There was one guy said he has one and it works good, but no info on it. Does anyone know where I can get info on them?

Thanks,

Eric

Eric,

A "Hoppy" brake controller? Is that what your trailer wheels do when it's engaged? ;)

Seriously, I would pass on the package deal and just let them install the hitch. I would then buy my own Jordan or Tekonsha Prodigy and install it myself. I believe you'll find the group purchase of the Jordan Ultima 2020 going on HERE.

Just my 2 cents' worth based on personal experience. :)

I believe I will pass on the package deal and install my own because for one I can't find anything on the internet and based everyones replies here. I will let everyone know how it goes. It will most likely be a month or so till I do it. Got to save up the money or it may be sooner if wife gives the OK :D :D . Thanks to everyone for all the information.

Thanks,

Eric

gooseneck hitch

Try doing a serch for "Una goose'" it is made in Holton , Indiana. it is the cleanest set up I have seen you only need to cut a 3 inch hole in the bed, and the ball removes by pushing down and turning ( some sort of locking ball detent. )
