Propane and Carbon Monoxide Detector Placements

I saw one of these at the Farm Machinery Show in Louisville 2 years ago and have been wanting one ever since. Price was about $300. I called and got the video. It made since how it worked but I still don't want to spend the money till I hear it from someone who uses one.

Mojo293,

Are you talking about one of these:

Or, do you mean the vertical gooseneck couple with an internal shock? If you mean airbag type, I suggest you read the thread I posted. $300 sounds too cheap. If your talking cushioned coupler, email me. I can direct you to one for much less but rated to only 20k gross trailer weight.

I understand that the airbags work, don't know about the cushioned couplers.

Or is it this? http://www.trailair.com/ there is nothing on there web site yet but there #. I have one of there 5th wheel pin boxes and it does make a differance. You can call or send them an e mail and they will send you some info.

It was the cushioned coupler type. The video showed it working with a swinging type action and showed the truck bed with and without the hitch. It was also rated at 20K. The link for the airbag hitch was the first one I had seen, looks nice but I bet it's expensive. As soon as I can find my literature on this thing I'll put it on here. thanks:)

Rubberneck is the brand I saw. I had asked the one of the hitchdealer's salespeople at a show but he did not know much about it. Did not feel like waiting for the "expert" to come back. You can call this number and talk to them and while your at it, check the price. 1-800-932-8373
