Gooseneck Tool Box

I have a 18 ft Big Tex Gooseneck trailer and I am looking for some type of tool box to put on it. I would love one to fit at the top of the gooseneck to fit in the dead space. I have done some searchs on the internet and have yet to find one. The box wouldn't have to be too big... just a place to store straps, some general tools, etc.



I guess the other option is to find one for the the truck... . which I really don't want to do, but it maybe my only option.

I just looked at a trailer that the owner got a knack pickup side box and mounted it between the uprights fit real nice and its waterproof with a lock and key

I built one in the dead space. Any welding shop should be able to build you one and keep it between the rails.

I have a chest type tool box that I carry between the hitch and the fuel tank in the back of the truck. I have thought about putting it in that dead space and move the spare. My concern would be the extra wind it would catch and hurt mileage. Thought about building a deflector to put in front of it also. At least it would save climbing in the truck to get chains and straps. How much would a box hurt the mileage I wonder??
