Alright that it I'm going gooseneck. Now I just need to figure out length and a brand:D



I have the B&W. Great hitch and if you are thinking of getting a 5er, it is the best setup. That being said I also have a Pop-up that I took out for the B&W. Only used it a hand full of times. If you are interested PM me I'll make you a great deal on it.

My experience is horse trailers... large horse trailers and a GN flatbed for equipment hauling. There is absolutely no comparison. Go GN and never tell anyone you even thought about a BP:-laf
 
The other nice advantage to a gooseneck is it generally limits the people who can borrow it to people who at least know a little something about towing and caring for a trailer. It took me along time to talk dad into a gooseneck livestock trailer and what eventually did it was when we borrowed a 24' gooseneck that pulled better and got around almost as good as our 16' bumper hitch trailer. Two years later we've still got our 16' bumper hitch trailer along with our 16' gooseneck but the only time the bumper hitch gets used is when the neighbors borrow it.
