Anyone want to do some hauling?

Anyone using Rotochoks?

once you get your goose hooked, put a piece of elec tape on your line up point on your rear window, just center the trailer on that line and you can't miss centering the hitch and ball. we like the lock and close hitches better than the drop down types. also be careful how you jacknife and pivot a loaded 5th. it is convienient, but bad on the tires and wheel bearings. you jack a loaded trailer, you can "chunk" your trl tires. we've seen brand new tires delaminate, and had alot of tire failures from this. ask your tire dealer, they know.

Good advice, packman. If you think about it, the trailer tires/wheels/bearings/axles are taking a lot of stress in a tight turn.

Usually it isn't a problem getting the truck & trailer centered, it's how far to back up, which causes a couple trips in and out of the truck to look. That's where the mirror could help. :)
