ok here is the deal. i have an 02 2500 HO 6speed with an edge juice/attitude and air dog lift pump. when i get down on her real hard it seems to miss or stumble at 1500 to 2000 rpms. it does it briefly and then continues climbing. also at idle the tach jumps around at between 800 and 900. not enough to hear through the engine but you can see it in the tach. any ideas on what could be the cause or is this normal?

I'm thinking the crank sensor. I'm on the 2nd one I've replaced. Typical is the little stumble that only happens sometimes and the tach acting funny. Last time for me the tach went to "0" then sprang back to life and the day before the little stumble around 1500. I ordered up a new sensor and things got a bit worse before the new part arrived. Changed it out and all is well again.

no i havent unplugged edge but i am willing to try anything. also i didnt think the 02 had a crank sensor. i thought the tach worked off of the cam sensor on the newer 24 valves.
