The 318 Dodge is the 327 to Chevy's, I'm jealous. In fact I believe it was the last surviving V-8's of the great V-8's from the 60's to the 70's, and the fuel injected 318 from 92 and later, was even better. I've owned many different versions of the 318 V-8, and all were great.

The truck was purchased right here at Genes Chrysler in 1986. It’s a one family truck too....till I got it. I didn’t even buy it, traded for it. Guy that owned it needed a major service on a 2001 1500.....tired 318 magnum that needed intake resealed, timing chain, water pump and transmission service. I supplied all the labor and he bought the parts.

He was convinced the trans was shot in the 86 and he’s allergic to spending money......it was 3 quarts low on fluid and after I filled it up, I’ve driven it about 500 miles since with no problems. Pretty cool old truck. She’s a keeper.
