Got an hour to kill....read this thread

Well if you have an hour to kill click here and go kill that hour. The link will take you to the pirate4x4 BB and a post by a kid from Alaska. It starts out being about an axle swap and ends up with an axle swap... its the stuff in between that is so cool. He builds his own CNC plasma cutter (so he can build his own bead lock wheels), repairs his digital camera, designs and almost builds his own plasma cutter out of an alternator, a hair dryer and some other stuff. He looses parts of his trucks in the snow and all kinds of other stuff... One of the best threads I have read on any website. Enjoy and go back often as he seems to add to the thread every couple of days.



The really crazy part is that he is only 20 years old. I wish I had this much ambition when I was 20.

I love that board! Some of the guys are a little cocky, but most of them are more than happy to help out a dumb 20 year old kid like me I got 7 replies to a post I made there tonight in 10 minutes

I like the pirate board just because its a good place to learn about stuff. I enjoy how cocky they get, it makes it fun to read most of the time.

Holy Cow that was cool. I used to go to that site all the time when I drove my old Ranger but havent been that much seince I got the new Ram. I didnt even read every post and it took me allmost 2 hours, well I was watching TV and talked and talked on the phone for some of that.

I like the fact that he tore apart his camara and put it back together. All I can say is that guy is 2 years youger then me and I wish I knew half of what he does.
