i tried to find the source of my oil leak and gunked the engine down. it looks like it is coming from behind the ac compressor and block, not sure if that is possible ( if it is please tell me). the oil is leaking down from the passenger front corner of the motor. i have jigged the kdp, i had to get the motor warm before it would leak and even then it is a slow leak. it is just hard to tell with the fan blowing it everywhere. any help with where it is comign from it appreciated. in the pic that i am trying to post it looks like it is coming from behind the front cover but it isnt that wet in person.

Could it be the head gasket and running down the front of the block? The oil cooler is behind the oil filter in the block... could this be it? My guess is head gasket.

it is not the headgasket, i have had it fire ringed. i had the oil leak b4 i blew the head gasket. the oil cooler is a possibility. i will check it out. . the oil is coming right from that corner, no higher on the motor. i was just wondering what else is right around there that may be leaking. thanks

There are several places it can leak from there. The front cover is somewhat notorious for leaks, as well as the crankshaft front seal. The oil cooler is above that area as well. It could also be leaking from the turbo oil supply and drain but thats a little further back. Sound like the front cover to me.

Good luck.
