Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting Got back from RV'in

Just pulled in last nite at 11:30 PM. Thought I should download some pics off the camera only have about 1200 of them:-laf Boys are tired and im beat to crap this full time cowboy I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER gets ya to feelin old fast no wonder those guys didn't last to long. Built hunt camp and took some New Mexico boys fishin just another way for income. :-laf Told my Nephew this is one HELL OF A WAY FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE A LIVING!!!! He'll do fine.

I'm usually the one behind the camera. Wife said I need to get in some of the pics but I dont have one of those expensive UGLY FILTERS to save the camera from sure destruction.

VACATION!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN VACATION!!!!:-laf

HH how ya been pard it was a vacation. The only reason I came in was the wife came out ( we were wondering how she found us we didn't know where we were at )and told Jason my Nephew and I to come home. The grass needs cutting and the chores are backing up around the place. So we are going to rest up a day and do the chores and go back out. :-laf We are using the idea of scouting for the hunting season I think she knows better :-laf. But we have seen some RECORD BOOK ELK and Deer. Jason is taking over the outfitting gig and he and I both have wanted to move the camp for years so he said lets do it. Its a fine place running water (a near by stream) shelter (pine trees) and will be a fine camp. Its another 4 miles out so it comes to a 21 mile ride to camp but that cuts down on the competition for hunting!!!!

Never needed one Goodguys my FIL ran the show for MANY years then BIL took it over just as I married into the tribe 36 years ago and now our Nephew is taking over. Word of mouth has been WAY MORE than enough for the endeavor. BIL went to hunting shows in big towns to promote his business but with all the A HOLE environmentalist they would come to the show and spray paint on the game heads and hides that he brought so he just quit. Most of the time his are repeat customers they like what they got and most seem to never get enough. We might start to do some advertising for the fishing part of the business that we are starting up. My Son and Daughter are AVID fly-fishers and it will extend the opportunity to make money at this. I dont like to say that but that is what its all about for my Nephew. I cant say that with all honesty he and I both love the outdoors but for him it's a lively hood for me its just being outdoors im done with the 9 to 5 deal. And just like to be doing something outdoors because im not house broken yet.

Is this a pack trip sort of thing? If so how does one get in on it? I have been wanting to take a trip into the back country on horseback or by mule either way.

We now are doing it for more to help out the outdoor enthusiast groups. We did a study with my other Nephew's college group for his college thesis he's wanting to be a wildlife biologist. The other group we helped out was rebuilding streams for a trout bunch. They ran into us in the field when we were on the other study and asked if we would help. Its a two fold idea we help the enthusiast groups and word gets around about us to the ones that use the outdoors (Joe public). We have already got some payback. We were in town and 5 fishermen asked if we would take them out and drop them and their camp off and come back in a week and take them back. I was kind of Leary about just dropping them off this ain't Disney Land!!! there's things out there that will F you up. They said they wanted to go and signed some papers that the FIL's lawyer drew up so saddle up boy's. They paid up the butt for a nice horse ride in my opinion and someone that did the packing of equipment.



During the rest of the season we are trying to get a fishing thing going camp and all. From spring to hunting season that starts in 1st of Sept. to the 1st week in Nov. Then its plenty cold to be out playing games. But you never know about those cross country ski nuts. Im the hired help in this endeavor( That would be if I got paid :-laf) im trying to help out another Nephew in something that not only I but the entire family enjoys. He's trying to make a life for himself and his squeeze he's wanting to get married. I asked him JMO but if your getting the milk for free why buy the cow? He's my bud and knew im just being me. Ill help them all out and we have for the most part and it works both ways. They built our house and barn and greenhouse (just labor)



In July im taking some folks out for a month that we rode and worked with in the Sierra Nv mountains in Ca. Its just a for fun and enjoyment of old friends. In my spare time I try to sleep and take care of the place so my time is pretty much used up. I hope this is helping you out its making me feel tired. :-laf If you need any help let us know and if we can do anything let us know.
