I would love to see some pics of the supercharger... I wonder how he keeps it from over speeding if it is making 11 psi at idle what does it make at WOT. Also how would you keep the high press air from back feeding into the supercharger??
This "ThrottleJockey" guy also has an 11-foot plow on a one-ton truck... ...
His air intake "flow chart" would go like this: air filter, supercharger, intake of H2E, IC, engine... . So he wouldn't have to worry about backflow. But the parasitic loss of a blower is HUGE... . up to 65% of engine output is needed to even turn the darn thing... so you have to overcome that loss to turn over a positive HP #.
There is more than one way to skin a cat... . this setup is proof.
Hey... . What's wrong with an 11 foot plow ?? I have one too ! Should see the looks I get from oncoming drivers on a narrow one lane road :--) :--) :--)
Hey, dont knock him!! He's Big money!! He has a BANKS System... a whopping 90 HP for $2600!!! he would need all those goodies to make it hang with all the regular trucks... I am sorry, but the Banks systems are a slight rip off! my friend has one, and I outpull him, loaded, unloaded, and will blow his doors off bobtailing as well... . He was like when I told him how little I paid compared to him and how much more power I have over him! He just kind of looks at me and does the :{ thing, but he knows I am right!!! hehe..... That's my $. 02 worth!!
