Snooped around for a while but never posted. I am a first time cummins owner but always been a big fan and just bought an 02" HO 6 spd (K&N drop in, straight pipe, and removed silencer ring). I have a edge ez, gauges, and wildcat maxflow system on order but they will not be here for over a week. What my question is is that a friend of mine has a fueling box that he was going to loan me untill mine gets in and untill he gets back from out of town. I think it is a superchips but could be another one of those over advertised overrated boxes (I know not a good box) but would I tear anything up (lift pump, egt's, clutch) having fun with it for a short period of time untill I get mine in and will it throw any codes. I don't want to be overly cautious but I don't trust anything that I have not heard recomended on this forum, it sounds like most everyone here has alot of knowledge on their trucks and can offer very good advice. I really like this forum and really really like my truck.

Superchips can only be used on one vehicle. He would have to reverse (de-install) superchips programming on his truck comuter, restoring original settings before superchips can be used on a second vehicle.
