Well I finally got my ISSPRO gauges in and mounted in a triple gauge A-pillar pod. Thanks to PDR for the great advice on everythng from installation recomendations to what gauge I should use to fill the third gauge spot in the triple-pod. It took about 6 hours for two of us to do the whole shebang, start to finish, which was longer than I thought. The manual transmission gauge took us a little while). I went with a color-coded EGT followed by a 0 - 40psi boost and last I have a 100 - 280 degree oil temperature gauge for my manual transmission (I decided to go with this gauge upon recomendation from PDR in the context that I plan on hauling a gooseneck weighing 14,000lbs this summer. Installation went well. Only somewhat-major pucker factor was welding a 3/8 peice of steel onto the paper-thin transmission PTO cover so that we could tap it and thread the probe in. (All went well, didn;t burn any holes and it appears to be leakproof Oo. )

With my almost stock CTD, these are my figures:

EGT:

(Pre-turbo pyro)

while accellerating on ramp onto highway 20-60mph flat-out stretch, needle almost reaches 900.

Cooling in driveway with exhaust brake off, needle drops to about 275, with exhaust brake on, needle rises to about 350. No exhaust brake and fast idle to 1200rpm, needle is still a little below 300 (fast idling doesn't seem to make much of a difference).

Boost:

Usually I don't get above 10psi bu I did get it up to 18 psi on one run. That's the highest I have got it to date.

Manual transmission:

Running empty on the highway in 55 F weather, the transmission will get to 130F after about 30 minutes. I haven't seen it go above this yet.

Do these figures seem normal for an almost stock truck?

Thanks guys :)
