I had mine up to 95 mph going up a good steep long grade over by Kinzua Dam in Pa. Started at a dead stop at the bottom and had her up to that speed real quick, but egts were hitting 1300, so had to back off.

131. 3 according to the GPS in an uphill race against Mercedes Komp. Tach was at 3250. If I had heaver valve springs to rev to 4000, I probably would have walked it up higher. The older gentelman and his young looking girlfriend in the short skirt in the Komp were impressed when they passed me after I slowed. Not often you get a thumb up from a sports car. :D

Mine is governed at 108. When I put the 315's on I ran it all the way up. It went to 108 BEFORE the speedo correction which tells me it was really over 120. As soon as I got my speedometer corrected for the larger tires, it still said 108 max and was noticably slower. The '04 is definately governed on speed and not RPM.

"MAN", You guy's have wavlos because I would probley go to jail out here in california for going over 100 mph and that's only if there was no traffic which there always is. The size of this 3500 truck is large due to it's size and power, and the responsibility of hitting someone or something with it is huge so I will stay at the speed limit. Thanks for letting me know how fast it is though.

Interstate 8 between San Diego and Arizona has some stretches where you can hang it out for miles and never ever see a car or truck (just watch out for the illegals though, we've come close several times crusing at well over 100, and all of a sudden, you'll see a family come out of nowhere and dart across the freeway...

Bellyscraper is right. Get caught out here in Cali going over a 100, well you better pack a toothbrush.

well out here on highway 50 just east of sacramento theres a nice stretch if your doing it at night! ive had my truck to 114 with the 315's and havnt put the speed limiter thingy on it yet, will be interesting to see what it actually tops out at.

My '03 HO 6-speed 3. 73 Ram hit 108. 0 and that was it. Got there nice and quick, but 108 was like hitting a brick wall.

My '01 HO with 3. 54 gears topped out at 118, once again governor limited. It had no trouble doing 118 when bone stock, but the power shutoff was very dramatic with the DD2s and van Aaken box.

Now this ol' 96 I have does 100 on the nose, not a bit more or less. It needs a GSK!

I hit a 100 at least once as day passing cars coming home from work, it is usually 1 car driving 50 and 5 cars scared to pass because they have to balls or power so I have to get them all at once. But 108 is the wall I hit but way better than by Duradud @ 95, MY 2000 would hit 118.

So that if you can't "take" a Ford or GM on the short drag, maybe you can get 'em on the top end! ;) :-laf :-laf

I had to pass two cars in a row once an I had it up to a little over 70. I did't hurt anything did I? I wasn't towing anything.
