Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Got lucky

I was driving down a road and a Hummer was in front of me kicked up a rock and smashed my window:{ . Well I was calling around to see if anyone could get me in fast, well ended up taking just around the corner from where I worked. dropped it off at 8:00am didnt hear a thing for 7hrs,well I called and they said it will be a couple more hrs before I can pick it up. Well they called and told me I could pick it up but I had to see the owner first . Great whats up now?They had scratched my truck taken the window out and wanted me to take it to anyone I wanted to have the scratch touched up well you can hardly see it so I said dont worry about it and the gave me the window free of charge saved me three hundred dollars ... ..... Rick

I had the exact same thing happen on my Toyota except they just paid the deductible. I would have never seen the scratch if they hadn't pointed it out, never fixed it.

When I bought my Dodge, went to pick it up. Parked my imaculate, trade in Bronco and left with my new Dodge. The fellows told me later that when I left, a semi pulled in and crunched my Bronco trying to turn around. I got his name so I will never hire him!
