Swapped the the OE tires yesterday. Got a whopping 30,960 miles out of them before showing thread.

Went with stock size LT 275/70R18. Despite the aggressive tread, they do not hum like an true M/T does. They ride nice and don't wander on the hwy.

Probably won't get much mileage out of them, but they have the traction I need up here without going full M/T

You are going to like them. We have a studded set on our 04.5 during snow plowing season. They have held up to 3 seasons of abuse.

When i was in Discount for the 4th tire sale, i was talking to 2 guys, one with a duramax and the other with a 04 cummins both said he got over 50K on the duratracs. i don't have personal experience with them, but it's hopeful. i ended up with the wrangler adventure kevlar, as they were take off and only 180 a tire.

Keep us posted.

You'll Definitely like them. I had a set on my 2nd gen and loved them. Surprisingly good in the snow and slush. They did wear faster than a regular A/T but that's to be expected given the design.

So I check the air pressure today, and I'm not sure why I'm surprised they were aired up to 80psi... Guess it's been a while since I've been to a tire shop?? I aired down the front to 70 and the rears to 60 psi; much nicer ride. I'll leave them at those pressures for now to see how they wear and make adjustments if necessary.

I had 285-75-16's on my 97 Chevy and that truck was unstoppable in the snow. Fairly decent ride with little noise on the highway as well. When it's time to put new sneakers on my Ram I will certainly look into DuraTrac's.

It's discount tires standard inflation in the front, the rears they put to 70 unless otherwise requested. Rides nice, no reason to think any things wrong, if J tow, I'll inflate them.
