got my first CEL

A CEL at 4K miles GRRRRRR

I remote started it, it started. When I went out of the house it wasnt running and wouldnt restart using the remote. It fired right up when I started it using the start button. Dropped it off at the dealer. I am going to the beach tomorrow for a winter weekend with the guys, timing is never good on this stuff! Hopefully its nothing too major. It seemed to drive fine on the way to the dealer.

Dealer just called, its a bad ammonia sensor. They have to order the part and they said its OK to drive. I guess the light will be popping back on. I asked if the light comes back on will the ECM read it as a DEF fault and put the vehicle into 5 mph mode. He said no. I have 250 miles to drive tomorrow and sunday, I dont need any issues!

Thoughts?

the dealer cleared the code and did a flash update. They had to order a sensor, they are back ordered. They said this was the third one this week and I shouldn't have any more issues... if thats the case, why are they replacing the sensor? I drove it about 50 miles tonight, no issues,maybe its a software issue?????
